Convento de Santo Antonio

Continuing our Rio Centro walking tour, we stopped in city square / pedestrian area, Largo da Carioca, and purchased a few souvenirs. 

We also had a view of Convento de Santo Antônio from the square. Another point of interest according to our guidebook was the Petrobras building.

Here are two of the souvenirs we purchased at Largo da Carioca.  In retrospect, this turned out to be one of the best places for souvenir shopping we would find during our travels through Brazil.

I'm always fascinated by the fast food chains available in each of the places I visit.  Bob's Burgers seemed to be one of the more popular fast food chains.  Learn more about the history of Bob's burgers on their Wiki page here.
